When you listen to music using headphones...

I am an 37 years old now and couldn't give a **** what other people think of me having my wire hanging out in public :D. As most people get older they kind of look back at the way they used to worry about how other people viewed them and laugh. If you think about it the other way round you could ask the question "have you ever seen somebody walk down the street with their headphone wire showing. If so, then were you disgusted by that sight". If the answer to that question is yes, you were nearly sick, right there, in the street then you should go and have your head tested :D.

i find it silly and stupid when people leave their headphones dangling around their necks with their wires hidden.

point - let people do what they want and what they find most comfortable and accessible to take on or off:rolleyes:.

I always have the wire dangling out on my way to/from work. Don't have enough time to faff and tuck it in when I finish work, so whatever! Plug it in, chuck the ear pieces in and go. My man-bag strap keeps it from swinging about - the wire that is :D

Sometimes I tuck it in, sometimes i don't....but how the eff does not tucking it in make someone look 'stupid'? It's a cable, they're listening to music.......Get over yourself you pompous ****.

I can guarantee you, as someone who doesn't judge people on such pathetic and trivial things, I have a far more enjoyable existence than you, including whilst I'm listening to music without the wire tucked in.

I don't know so much about looking stupid in itself, but it certainly can cause me to look stupid if it gets caught on something, and I don't like the cable swinging about. For me the important thing is function and if it's down the inside of my shirt then it's better.

I can do that with mine - I avoid doing it because it's slightly annoying, but that's how I'd do it if I was running. Again it's all about function rather than vanity. :)

I leave the cable hanging out. My music player is my phone, my headphones don't have a mic (no one can ever hear me when I use one)... so I have to unplug it quite often when it rings...

Under the shirt so it doesn't get caught on anything and break. Also, ipod should ideally be in a hoody front pocket because jean pockets love ruining cables.

I don't put the wires under my clothes, creates a nightmare when removing layers of clothes and they tend to snag on the clothes and get ripped out of my ears. It's much easier to put them away in my pocket, rather than disconnecting my phone and pulling the earphones through my shirt. Also, volume control.

As someone who literally has my IEMs in 50-75% of the time when I'm not at home. I've never tried to hide the cable under my top, I find that it feels weird. My phone is also my music player so it's much easier for it to be in my pocket or on my desk and my headphone cable just to 'fly aeound' infront of me.

I think people who tuck a cord past their clothing are silly muppets, trying to justify it with some weird reasons such as; looks tidy, doesn't catch on things etc etc.

I love to strole around with my HD25 with cable out, why on earth give a damn. Some people on here really do over analyse things far too much :D

We'll see who the muppet is when your cord gets caught on a door handle in public. ;)

It has been caught in Rolling Stock Doors, desk drawers and a number of door handles. Still going strong after about 4years.

Maybe buy some decent headphones and you won't have to worry about **** cords that break after 3 days of looking at them.

Muppet right back at ya oh young paduan.
