if you want to hook up with girls in a club then either go to somewhere like Infernos in Clapham, get very drunk and pick an equally drunk girl (likely either Australian or recent UK graduate) from the dance floor, take back to yours... easy game.
Alternatively go to some poncy west end club and get bottle service... when the bottles arrive complete with fireworks watch as perma tanned essex girls surround your table like flies on ****. They're generally a bit better looking than average though you don't really want to talk to them for long.
Overall clubs are a bit of a waste of time - you're better off in bars where you can actually approach/talk to girls without either being completely drunk or blowing a load of $$$$. Anywhere that serves cocktails will usually even out the numbers a bit more (on the downside the wait at the bar gets ridiculous).
