Where can I buy a SST 39SF040 EEPROM?

As title really, I've looked around a few places on the internet, does anyone know a good source of EEPROM's in the UK?

Also, are there any parts that are equivalent? I think the [FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica][FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica] ATMEL AT49BV040B-JU may work also, this is not being used a computer BIOS or Car ECU however, so I thought GD may know!

A certain large component supplier in the UK will probably have these. Not sure if I can mention the name but take the 18th & 19th letter of the alphabet and stick "www" after them with a ".com" on the end

Are you sure the product number is correct?

I'm assuming you've tried Farnell and RS?

Oh, and the SST 39SF040 isn't an EEPROM, it's Flash.

Well, it Says SST39SF040 on the top of the IC, along with a few other numbers, and my eeprom reader/writer actually ID's it as SST 39SF040A... I'm not really sure if there's any difference, I'll check the datasheet tho.

I've tried both RS and Farnell, and also Rapid and even ebay!

Oh, and the SST 39SF040 isn't an EEPROM, it's Flash.

Cheers, I guess all my searches for 'EEPROM' have been in vain. I'll try searching some more.
