Had a good ride out with some mates from work, finished off with fish n chips at Matlock bath.
This was easily the best bike there, RD500

Went to an open day where they had a Kawasaki H2R, stunning bit of kit with a noise to that hurt my head.

Your lucky,everyone I've seen over here had massive signs saying please don't touch

Edit: I only held my hand next the the fairing to see the chrome reflective paint,the salesman came running over saying don't touch it lol

After pulling my clutch lever in for a gear change it sometimes sticks half way rather than returning fully.

What is likely to be the cause of this and is it an easy fix?

Fraying clutch cable would be my first guess

Yep, could be that, take the cable out the lever end and check it - you don't want to be stranded with a snapped clutch cable... believe me!

I did my first track day at Bedford Autodrome yesterday, it was tons of fun. I was slightly nervous at first lining up next to proper track bikes on my SV650 but once out on track it was just great, being able to push the corners without fear of a hedge.

I had a couple of hairy moments where I braked way too late for tight hairpin and later on scraped my toe on the floor while leaning. It has certainly highlighted how rubbish my front suspension and brakes are, I'd like to change the springs and oil but I need paddock stands and all that so it might take a while (supposed to be saving :/).
