Not always. For example, rear brake discs for my car are different sizes depending on which brand of calipers you have fitted. This is on the same car over the same timeframe. For whatever reason, some were fitted with TRW calipers and some with Bosch calipers. The reg is no help, as ECP only says a range of years and you need to know which you have fitted.

ECP lists all the different brands in the two different sizes.

i imagine it's a unique scenario to be in. which is why they have that disclaimer. if it doesn't fit take it back to the shop for a full refund.

http://mister-auto.co.uk is very cheap for some things, expensive for others, what is best though is there is usually a choice of 5 brands or more for any part.
