Where do you get your 'style'?

Jeans, tshirt, jumper basically. Have a fair few jumpers atm mostly horizontal striped, couple from Ben Sherman, Sonneti topman etc. Hate skate shoes with a passion (Gilly's right and you all know it!), have a couple of pairs of trainers atm, white leather Onitsuka Tigers and Lacostes.

Just what I like wearing. I am neither a chav, an emo or a proto-goth. Just wear nice jeans, trainers and top.
Ditto for that, though maybe add a jumper because I'm soft and can't take cold weather very well :D

If its real good then why not, but I have Versace, Prada, Stone Island. Then Fcuk, river island jeans for casual. Addidas, Nike etc for casual too.

I just wear what I like. I hate trends and "whats in" if I see the latest thing people are wearing is turtle necks or a particular style of coat or whatever then your not going to catch me wearing one becasue I find it ridiculous that people follow like that.

Latest one I have noticed is guys wearing those long black coats, you walk into town and every other person is wearing them. Nothing against the people that follow like that but I find it funny that people follow fashion like sheep.

Primark - It helps if you dont think about all the poor starving kiddies making your clothes, Or....whoever makes them

Depends what I'm doing obviously but normally something along the lines of skate/baggy jeans because most others don't fit lengthwise, trainers and a hoody, it covers me for most eventualities I'm likely to face and is comfortable.

Bah who care about who makes them? As long as they're cheap and good quality, I'll buy it if I like what I see - usually not from Primark though, TBH.

I don't really care about fashion and so on. I just dress the way I want to and what feels comfy. It's very unadventurous but I make up for that in other ways. I'd hate to be a sheep and follow a trend and fashion just because it's supposed to be better or "cool". Being yourself is the best bet.

So you conform by refusing to wear what others wear?

Yeah, you're cool.

Black and white hooped top, beret, gauloise, a casual shrug, a bicycle and a string of onions?

You see those kids hanging around statues in own? Well i walk pass them and jot down ideas :D Only problem is it takes a lot of talc to get into my jeans :(

In all seriousness i just buy clothes i like the look off, most tends to be a lil baggy as its more comfortable and i like animal/ripcurl/oneil clothing as a rule :)

What I find amusing is the reaction of my work colleagues if they see me on a day off.

Mon-sat I'm suited and booted, impeccably groomed...

Days off, I look like a tramp.

OIGNONS!

baggy jeans, t-shirts (my new comic style pup fiction one rocks, i have a sonic "ramones"s tyle one, you get the style..) either my old skater shoes (comfy as) or more stylish-ier brown trainers. Hoody if cold (black/grey stripe) and a smart coat.

"typical slobby teenager" style? :)

I love the way in these threads there's always a lot of people desperate to say how they dont follow trends etc.. I'm willing to bet that most of our fashion sense is sub-consciously picked up from TV, music, culture etc.. and probably mainly friends. Even if you dont consciously look at the way someone is dressed on TV and say "yeah that looks good", it'll probably sit on your mind next time you're shopping or dressing yourself.

I think i pick up most of my fashion from my friends. I went through Uni probably like most people; starting off very studenty/baggy then through the years moving on to care a bit more about how i look. Nowadays it's still a mixture. I still wear skate shoes, but i wear shirts and nice jumpers when out. Most of my jeans are kinda baggy, although i got a couple of nice pairs for christmas that are a bit less-so. So much so, that skate shoes dont really work :( I need some new shoes, any recomendations? :p

I wear what I like, I dont wear something because its the latest in thing or because everyone else is wearing it.

If you read what I said you will realise I said I had nothing against people that wear what everybody else does. Although you still seem to have taken offence rather easily.

Yeah your cool too.

My style is = ME!

I wear what i like and whats comfortable. I like to look decent when im going out but around the house i will wear any old rubbish as long as i can chill in it.

I hate these people that need 'labels' on their clothes. A friend of mine, takes home £15K a year, wasted £13K inheritance money on a Civic Type-R just so he could have more power than my old car from 1992! He will go out and buy Firetrap T-shirts for £50 a pop, he spent £140 on one pair of jeans that looked like the ones id been wearing for the last 10 months and had worn out. Spends £10 a pop on hair wax, buys shorts that cost over £45 and here is the real kicker, he still spends this sort of money on clothes even though him, his g/f and his 10 month old baby girl are struggling to get by!

Idiot! I really dont see the money because other than the name written on the clothes they are exactly the same as the clothes i wear that cost no where near the same! I call him a fashion victim!
