Where do you get your tyres from?

Maybe thats just ATS. That all you need to do, drill it out? I was thinking either weld some stud bar on the nut or hammer a slightly smaller socket over the nut and try get it off that way?

I always get mine from Costco. They only do Michelin, but they are much cheaper fitted than anywhere else I've seen - only charge £2 a corner for valve, fit and balance. Twice a year they have a 20% off any 4 tyres, so the last 225/40/18 Pilot Sport PS2's cost me £93 a corner.

I do this too - apparently they can order in any tyre you want. I'm going to get a set of PS2's next time the offer comes round.

Just thought I'd dig this one up again.

Whilst I was happy with the service from Blackcircles after today I think I'll go back to using my local independant. Firstly I only need at worst 1 days notice for them to get me a tyre, normally a call in the morning secures a pair for that afternoon. Secondly they try their best to give their advice and do you a good deal. Talking me out of Kumhos was probably mutualy beneficial

I stoped using independants because of all the phoning around and bouncing prices around which I just don't have time for. This place though is always cheapest, and they give you a fixed price, no coming down when you call them back later just this is what it is. The only variations are if you buy more than one tyre they knock a bit off due to the proportional drop in fitting time.

Only problem with them is that they are too popular for a place with just 2 fitting bays. Spent over an hour there today waiting to get 2 tyres fitted

On advice from a few people here I tried etyres.co.uk this time around.
Price seemed reasonable - £106 all in (including fitting, valves, old tyre removal, etc) for 2x Goodyear NCT5's on a 195/65/R15 on my 307.

I ordered on Tuesday and they came out yesterday (Wednesday) afternoon.
Job well done and I'm happy with the price I paid and the fact they came out to me.
