Where does one go in Hatfield?

in a word no! I would venture to st albans rather than find anything to do in hatfield. There is only the galleria really, a shopping centre with a cinema, but st albans has some nice pubs and restaurants though. What you looking for?

Doors will be locked, roof wont be up though :p

Was just curious if there was anything about - not looking for anything in-particular.

Not really Hatfield is a really odd place. The galleria has a few shops, nothing really unique. The town centre is a semi-abandoned strip of shops, with a pizza hut. All the uni bars are on campus, but that doesn't matter because all the students go to St Albans, Stevenage, Peterborough... The rest of it is just expanses of housing and industrial work units.

Not to mention the MASSIVE drug problem the town has.

lol leave my home town alone :(

Let me guess, you're from Welwyn?

St Albans if the place to go!

Get the Uno bus 610 I think or the Arriva 300 and try and find as many pubs as possible. For my 21st we tried to do 21 pubs, we managed 24.

Apart from that, depending on when your going best bet is the new Uni night club.

Its a strange place thats for sure.

Go to St.Albans....

I'm pretty sure the Pizza Hut in Hatfield closed down! (was empty last time I was there)

Yeah, was never that nice anyway.

Quality pizza was brilliant and that shut down too... got replaced with Robins which was far too doughy, sad times.

If you want a good chinese though Ming Garden is the place to go!

No Pizza Hut in St Albans though, if that's what you're after!

I live in St Albans and I love it. Makes a refreshing change from the rest of Herts. Only two places for nights out though - Batchwood hall or Waterend Barn. The nicest way to chill out in St A is to sit in a pub, there are a nice mix of commercial pubs and traditional ones. Otherwise there is a snooker/pool club by the old train station.
