Untill a few days ago i didnt have the fogeyest of what a nrothbirdge or southbride did, now i know i think.

People tell me to watch my northbridge temps when ive overclocked.

3 Questions:-
1. Where on my Asus P4S800D-X is my northbrigde chip located?
2. How can i find the temps out?
3. Can i coll them down, if they are too hot?

Thanks guys :D

1. Its the aluminium heatsink next to your CPU
2. Didnt think northbridge had temp sensors?
3. You can replace the existing heatsink with another one if you feel the need

Just below the CPU underneath the silver heatsink.

I aint got a clue :)

You could always stick a small fan onto the silver heatsink, or buy a chipset cooler from OcUK or something.

I really dont think you need to worry about it tho unless you are doing some extreme overclocking and putting lots of volts through it.
