Hi, Im looking to book a week abroad in January sometime.
Will be just me and the gf.
Ive been Gran canaria, Tenerife, and Lanzarote countless time so I was looking for some new ideas really.

Just after some new ideas, Needs = Sun, sea & sand.

Weather needs to be late 20's early 30 degrees celcius.

If anyone has got any nice hotels to recommend too, that would be great.

Thanks, Tom

Have you considered Goa or Sri-Lanka? Might sound expensive but costs when you arrive make them very reasonable destinations. If you don't like Russians make sure you look at North Goa although I presonally prefer the south.

Make that the 20s-30s *F and go seek some fun in the sun on a ski holiday, go somewhere like California/utah/colorad state side, or a southern frecnh Alp maritime resort, Sierra Nevada In southern Spain, even southern AUstrian resorts are in the mediteranean climatic zone and have over 300 days of sun a year.

Action and excitement, as well as sun, infact you can tan a lot eaiser with the extra UV.

Remember to pack lots of sun screen and a wooly hat. :p

Go to Dubai! I was there in January a couple of years ago and it was well warm enough to go to the beach. Started to get a little chilly at 5pm ish, but still fine for sitting outside etc.

I've been to Dubai around these times and it is indeed beautiful - but have you considered somewhere further afield like Thailand? I'm going to Bangkok and Koh Samui in Feb. Temps are around the 30 mark I believe.

come with me pleeeeease tom

Well I would have, however, seeing as you are in Tenerife at the moment, about 5 mins away from all the nightlife on a 7 night holiday with a friend....Im a little bemused as to why you are posting on a Computer forum instead of partying

Not exactly the partymad holiday companion I would like to go on a winter break with :)

Winter sun = Windies for me even if its only a week, though longer is better for that much travel.

St Barts is my favourite to go with a partner excellant food, excellant shopping for her, excellant beaches, lots of cheap drink. And the airport is an experience :D

Technicaly its part of the EU as its a French department which makes it a weird mix especially as the island itself is a mix of Swedish and French.
