Whereabouts sells properly sized t-shirts these days?

Was looking to grab a few t-shirts and have been to Primark and Qwertee but they just don’t fit me.

The medium size is super skin tight and the large is like a tent!

I think the problem is that most t-shirts seem to be cut for someone whose waist measurement is equal to or larger than their chest size! I feel like I need large for chest size but a medium would be fine for my waist size. (32” waist / 40” chest)

Any recommendations? ( other than to eat more pies and drink more beer!)

I'm with you on this too. And don't get me started on the ****** up sizing of clothes these days. Two pairs of 32" waist trousers, one fits perfectly whilst the other won't even fasten if I suck everything in. I mean, shouldn't 32" be 32" no matter what?

I have the same issue (34" waist and 41" chest) and find most t-shirts don't fit me properly - I'm 6'3" and the length is often a problem for me as well. I've bought one t-shirt from this site and it actually fits well, they are expensive though. I've also heard good things about True Classic so I think I'm going to order a 3 pack and hope for the best.

That's all well and good, but those places seem to sell boring plain t-shirts. Try to find band t-shirts or t-shirts with decent designs that fit.

I only want plain t-shirts so I haven't looked for decent fitting t-shirts with designs on them. I haven't worn a band t-shirt for years, merch prices at gigs are eye-wateringly expensive nowadays. I seem to remember most band t-shirts being pretty awful quality, I suppose you could buy decent fitting plain t-shirts and get them printed with a design yourself? A lot of hassle maybe but if they're not on offer elsewhere that may be the only option...

£40 for a plain t-shirt. Ooof.

I concur though. I normally end up buying 5 or 6 shirts of random brands/sizes and only 1 of them fits ok.

I am the same height and have the same issues with length. Facebook are forever adverting me these True Classics tees and also a company called Built Different so would be interested to see what you think. They just seem so expensive for plain t-shirts.

If you’re willing to spend £40+ on a t-shirt, I’d recommend somewhere like sonofatailor.com that’ll make them to measure. Perhaps a little dull but perfect fit every time.

I find that the Qwertee tees as already mentioned by the OP and Red Bubble fit me fine, plus Vista Print for their custom tees. I'm a fat ******* 2XL.

If you're only medium, then there are plenty of sizes above you so I'd try the larger sizes in changing rooms until you find a fit.

For shoes, I always ask for 2 sizes (10 and 11) and they bring the boxes from the warehouse. Try them both on then take both to the counter and say I'm buying the 11's, please take the 10's back to the warehouse.
