No matter how much I stir, and I used to put it in a shaker it always seems to be lumpy. - Is it supposed to be like that? Or do you think I am doing something wrong?
 
I found some brands can be a bit lumpy, what brand are you using?

I use the Impact Whey from MyProtien which mixes really well in a shaker as long as you shake it hard enough. ;)
 
What brand are you using?

It's not Holland and Barrets own is it? If so, I agree, there is no shaker in the world that can make that smooth

I can't seem to get it to break down the lumps even if I use that stupid metal whisk thing in the shaker. The Impact Whey Isolate that they sell seems to mix much better.
 
Yeah I've had the misfortune of taking that before. Usually buy it if I'm going on holiday or travelling for a week as it's fairly cheap

First time I ever took it I put some in a glass and tried stirring it. I was there 10 minutes and eventually gave up and it was the lumpiest mess I've ever had. Next time I tried with a shaker, and although it was better, it was still lumpy

I've never had an issue with it, are you sure you are shaking hard enough?

Also I turn the shaker upside down while shaking it which may help. :)

I like to think of the shaking as extra Cardio at the end of my session... ;) LOL
 
I saw this on offer yesterday and was going to post up about it. Is it worth getting one of their tubs for the sake of £15, or would people still go for the MP.co.uk gear?

I'd go for it as a backup supply

To be fair, the banana tastes lovely and it is quite good in terms of its nutritional content. If you can get past the fact it just doesn't mix, then it's not a bad buy at all
 
I can't say I care much for lumps - I only take one shake a day and it's purely for nutrition rather than taste :) I've still got a fair batch of my MP.co.uk vanilla left, but I wasn't sure if the offer was good enough to pass up.

Saying that, it's about £15 for 1kg from MP, may as well just order and wait :)

That's around 6.8KG for £110, you can get 5KG for £39.99 (or less if you use this code MP253494 and its your first order) from MyProtien, granted it is unflavoured.

oh, ok. will check that out.. Looking for some stuff that doesn't give me terrible flatulence anyway or is this normal? .. Drives the family nuts!

edit - which one would you recommend (sorry 5UB for hijack)? :p
 
£40 for USN Whey is pricey! I just got some for £26.99 at costco and that's as much as I'd pay.
