Which 1st bike after passing DAS? Now purchased a bike!

Hi guys,
I've just passed my DAS course and I'm looking at getting my first bike. I really only want to spend no more than £2k if i can. I'm 34 years old so hopefully the insurance won't be too bad.

So what do you guys recommend as a first bike? I did my DAS on a MT07 but these are out of my price range.

I quite like the looks of a Honda cbr600 but am struggling to find anything decent for under 2 grand

Thanks for the info guys. Ive just come back from buying a Suzuki SV650s from a bike shop. I really liked the look of it and the best bit was that it only cost me another £32 to change the insurance policy over from a Lexmoto 125 to this. My insurance renewal is at the en of March 2018 so hopefully next year my insurance should be cheap as chips.
