which 1TB drive (nice and quiet)

Hi all after 2 new 1tb drives and was woundering what to get, at teh moment i have 2 x 250gig maxtors and goingt o upgrade them.

I want a nice quiet drive and good build quality as maxtor dont make drives anymore.

can anyone help me out and suggest some drives ?

My advice, for a boot drive the Samsung Spinpoint F3 is a no brainer.

For solely a drive that will be used as a storage drive I would look at the Western Digital Green Power drives. They consume so little power and run so cool that they definitely should be considered.

so the f3s are quiet thats good as thats what i am after as i am building a very silent system
