Right another which ones shall i choose, but i think i've nearly decided :)I will be building my brother and myself a new conroe rig each and was wondering what you think of my choices of ATI cards:


Brother: X1800XT seems like a must as he has my old Neovo 17" tft, and im guessing that a 1900XT would be overkill?

Me: I have just recieved my new dell 2007 20" and will be overclocking an E6600 to the limits of air cooling, 2gig Gskill, and am trying to push for an X1900. But i can't decide between the cheaper connect 3D or the HIS ICEQ card, or could an 1800XT squeeze out enough performance ?

With the connect 3d card i would probably get the zalaman 990 (or whatever its called), but would it be better to get the HIS card and just re-seat the cooler with some of my better shin-etsu thermal paste?


Any help would be much appreciated :D
 
I would just go with the HIS,rather than buying a zalman for the X1900XT. X1800XT will be fine fir your brothers rig though ;)

THe HIS card in 'this week only' is a cracking deal :D
