Which 560Ti for 1080p?

I usually upgrade my graphics card every 3 years depending on how demanding games are. The MSI GTX 560Ti 2Gb is a popular choice at the moment but I found this interesting article comparing 5 GTX 560Ti cards.
They recommend the Asus for performance and value and the results show the Asus being slightly better than the MSI. But the Gigabyte is even better and can be found for around the same price.

Now I'm stuck with which one to get.

I will getting my new monitor tomorrow so I'll be gaming at 1900 x 1080.
With Battlefield 3 on the way I am hoping to run most settings on ultra. Will any of the 560Ti cards be capable of this?

Also, is it worth me going for 2Gb of vram?

I dont think a single 560ti will run BF3 on ultra, but will probably do well on a mix of mid/high settings, my Gigabyte 560ti OC was running the bf3 beta at around 50fps on high at 1440x900

I'd get the MSI first, Asus second and ignore the rest. Especially Gigabyte.

At this point in time it is probably worth getting the 2Gb models. I bought my 560 just before the 2Gb model appeared and I am kicking myself a little.

MSI then gigabyte. Don't even consider Asus when the other two are there.

2gb models aren't that much more expensive so I'd get one. I'd suggest the MSI twin frozr 2gb.

It does. I had everything on Ultra and it didn't feel laggy although frames might have been around 30. It was still very playable. 2GB is essential for ultra settings thoughh.

When i tried it on ultra it felt really glitchy but i guess you could say it was playable

That's what I wanted to read, thanks. I've seen a few videos of Battlefield 3 running on ultra minus shadows (set high) and no motion blur (which I hate anyway) with a 560Ti so it looks like a good choice of card until the new ones come out next year.

How do we feel about the comparison of a 560Ti to a 570?

I also would like to know this. An extra £70 for a 570 might be a worthy upgrade.

Thanks :) £200 is about what I wanted to spend on a card even though my first choice was a 580 but having thought about it, they are too expensive for what they are and a 560Ti should be more than enough for my needs.

Quick question...will this fit in my P180B case? I probably should have thought about that before I orderded it.
