Which Board for Conroe and 7950GX2 ?

Looking to upgrade to a conroe system, with one 7950GX2 gfx card. Can anyone help choose which mobo will support this ?

I've looked on the compatability list for the GX2 but I'm still not sure what board i need.

Do I need a motherboard that supports SLI ? i.e.....2 pci-e slots ? or can I buy a board with one PCI-E slot ?

Hi, at the moment only the intel badaxe motherboard is supported and on nvidia's list, though not sure about other conroe boards, i did write an email to asus about the p5w dh deluxe..and the answer i recieved was at this time the board isn't compatible, but they are working on a bios ....the 7950 gx2 would most likely work but not at it's full capacity.
I decided to go with the intel badaxe just waiting for a conroe cpu now ( come on Oc/Uk get the E6600 / E6700 in

)

Using the 7950 on that motherboard, but you will need another pci-e card because you must install the latest Nvid. drivers before you can see anything on that card

Hi, which mobo do you mean the asus or intel board?
