Hi guys

About to purchase an x1900xt-x, prices are too good to not, but am lost as to which one i should pick.

Connect3D ATI Radeon X1900 XT-X
HIS Excalibur ATI Radeon X1900 XT-X
PowerColor ATI Radeon X1900 XT-X
Sapphire ATI Radeon X1900 XT-X

i am tempted with the connect 3D, but why is it so much cheaper than lets say the ASUS model? is it missing anything? OEM??

two more quick question to those who have the cards.

i have one of the first tagan 480w psu. i have seem pictures of the xt-x cards and it seem not to have a typical 4 pin power connector, just wondering what kind of power connector does it have?

i need to use these with a crt which has an analogue converter, was wondering if the sapphire or connect 3d come with a DVI to analogue converter?

thanks for anyhelp. :)

They should all come with the DVI convertors, Sapphire i know does as i got one with my x1800 XT 512mb, they are all the same apart from what software you get, and the pic on the cooler, i think the Connect3D's just have the drivers, but the Sapphire you get a choice of 4x games, but it really doesn't matter as the cards are the same so id just go for the cheapest. :)

They don't use the 4x pin molex they use a 6x pin PCI-E one, if you aint got one then that is supplied in the box to, my Sapphire had one of those included to, its a 6x pin to 4x pin adapter. :)

If not, then its the 5th one down on here you need, but it should come with one as as i said my Sapphire had one of those included too. :)

My powercolor X1800XT had a 6pin PCI-E converter included too, as did my previous C3D model. I reckon that guy who didn't have one was just unlucky.

Personally, I'd go with PowerColor as I've never had any problems with them and the one thing I find about C3D is that their packaging isn't the best, but Powercolor and all other brands are top notch. It's only about £8 more for the powercolor.

ASUS overcharge because of their name, ignore them. The main 3 in my eyes are Sapphire, Powercolor and HIS, followed by C3D just below (purely because of bundled software and packaging) and then all others.

every x1900xt(x) are the same (BBA models) if the Connect3D is the cheapest i would go with that one. But the connect3d does not have the 6pin PCI-E converter but it does have all the HD cables, DVI convertors(X2) ect.
