Pointless waiting unless a release date has been confirmed, otherwise you'd wait till AMD release the 8 series which is most likely to be first then you'd debate waiting for nvidia to release their 7 series which could potentially be 6 months+ away.

@OP I own a windfoce 7850 and love it, coming from a GTX260 it was like I stepped into the future lol.
