Which card to make SLi??

I have a Leadtek 7800GT Extreme which runs 450mhz/1.05ghz as standard and what to go SLi on a DFI UTNF4 SLI-D.
The books say the cards must be identical, which I hope just refers to chipset i.e another 7800GT.
Will it matter if the core/memory speeds are different if i get a standard 7800GT or is it possible to mix chipsets i.e 7800GT + 7900GT??
Advise please on which card to get!

XFX 7800GT Extreme ordered so I can keep both at the igher speeds

All running fine XFX 7800GT Extreme and a Leadtek 7800 GT Extreme both at 450/1.05 which is default for both
