which cheap 3 phone

We're thinking of switching to 3 because of their £15 a month packages
(current spend average £45 on orange for two handsets and we are
pretty low users).

However, all the 3 handsets are unknown to me, anyone have opinons on best 3 handset?

Maybe LG flip phone?

The only think I know is a friend has warned me off the nokia 6288.

what about the Nokia 6151?

as you might have guessed I am looking at spending least money :-)

I'd avoid the LGs and Motos by principle. This leaves, free at £15 p/m, these:

Nokia 6151 & 6233r
IMO the 6233 looks like the better phone. Bigger screen, higher resolution camera and better video recording (if that matters to you). Only available as a refurb but 3's refurbs are pretty indistinguishable from new handsets, so..

Nokia E61
The most technically accomplished handset out of the bunch: It's got WiFi, widescreen, a qwerty keyboard and is the only smartphone there. No camera though.

Sony Ericssons Z610 & K610
The K610 felt cheap and flimsy to me. I'd avoid it. Z610 I dunno... available in black but still looks like a ladyphone to me :p

If you've got a local three store pop down. Most phones are on display, they're actual live handsets and you can get a wee play with them.

but I think I we're going with t-mobile, I just don't like the look of any of those 3 phones!

the t-mobile flext-20 package seems just right for us and there are a shed load of free nokias and samsungs to choose from.

Was going to say that I got the k800i on a £20 contract ( I need a few more minutes ), but if you can blag the £15 deal then go for it :)
The K800 is a lovely phone, though coming from a Nokia, I'm still using 0 as he space key when texting.
