Which cooler for a Q6600 or E6850

Took me a while to decide on which to pick out of the main three that people always recommend. Just need to read some reviews about each one. I only chose noctua because i was worried about the weight those coolers put on the motherboard and as i go to LANs and stuff with my PC i don't fancy my CPU socket being torn out :p Noctua one looked pretty safe for LANs according to reviews. When i installed it i was impressive with it having suspension :D

Another vote for the Ultra 120 extreme - excellent.

And another vote for the 120 ultra, I found the fan a bit akward to fit as it had to be done after the cooler itself was fitted to the board, (I had fitted fan on the cooler first but had to take it off), but very well worth the effort, excellent cooling.

seems you made a wise choice for LAN gaming and it's a good all round cooler

UPDATE: Noctua has provided the following information on transporting the NH-U12F: "The mounting system of the NH-U12F was designed with LAN gamers in mind
and we encourage users not to take the cooler off during transport. With many thousands of coolers sold, we haven't had one single problem from transporting a
system with the Noctua cooler."
