just got a refund for my ds4 as i was having booting issues with it. I was gonna get a replacement but the store i got it from had none in stock so i got a refund.

I was running an e6400 at 440x8 in the ds4. Which boards out there will do this kinda fsb other than another ds4. I like the look of the Asus P5W DH Deluxe but will this be able to reach 440fsb. Should i go for one of these or just get another ds4??

Im using 2gb Team Xtreem 6400 ram which uses d9 micron chips if that makes any difference to choice :)

thanks for the info though ideally i dont really want to spend that much on a board.

How far will the fsb on the Asus P5W DH Deluxe go? is it likely to get similar results to the P5W 64 Pro??

was booting issues. Yeah another ds4 would probly be fine but before i decide to get the same again id like the know about the Asus P5W DH as i could get this tomorrow from a local shop, where as the ds4 is currently out of stock. Or i could get a Gigabyte DQ6

From this local shop i could get the p5w dh for only tenner more than ocuk charge for a ds4 + shipping or get a DQ6 for the same price. Thats main reason for asking about them rather that just ordering a DS4 straight away off ocuk

So looks like either a Gigabyte DQ6 or an Asus P5W DH, i just want confermation whether the p5w dh is capable of 440 fsb or not :)

well after a bit of reading ive decided i dont want the p5w dh. So its either wait for ds4's for come back in stock or get a dq6.

One question about the dq6 though, do they suffer from problems using D9 micron based ram like the ds3's apparently do. I read that geting fsb over 430 is a problem with ds3 if using D9 micron ram, just wondering as from looking at Gigabytes site the DQ6 and DS3 both seem to use same bios'. D9 ram isnt a problem however with the DS4
