Which do you prefer single player games or online?

SP or co-op only nowadays most online MP games are full of cheaters there is an underground scene where clever coders write scripts (& sell them) which cannot be detected to give MP players a massive advantage

Usually its an aim bot you can always tell as when you twirl around on the spot it messes up their previously 100% accurate aiming skills............

50/50 playing fallout new vegas and rest of the time on wow but im becoming disillusioned with the players on it now, to much bitching and sniping and toys being thrown out of pram all the time, just dont have the patience for it anymore.

Both equally as much.

Singleplayer is great for a chilled out game which you can quickly jump into and not have to fully concentrate.

Multiplayer offers much more fast paced action which is always going to be unique but requires more concentration if I actually want to do well and sometimes is a hassle finding servers.

Prefere a good single play. nothing better than getting immersed in a different world with an epic story.

Play online mostly though due to time issue and blasting real people away is great fun. 2 different types of game though, single player the world revolves around you and draws you into its world. Online you are just another person working as part of a team for no particular goal (MMO theres hundreds of goals, but are just the same goal in a different skin).

Bit of a mix really, I generally like to play online stuff but there always comes a point every few days where I just get sick of the people online and want to play single player for a bit so I can avoid them and recharge ready for my next dose of anonymous online abuse :)

If the game has a really good story-line then I can stick single player for quite a while but I'm never going to rack up as many hours in single player as I have online. I doubt my single-player hours are even a quarter of what my multi-player hours are.

about 50/50.

i enjoy being able to play with other people, use tactics/communicate, but it is damn nice to not have some northern monkey shouting **** in your ear :p

Single player or perhaps co-op with a buddy, I don't have 8 hours free a day to spend on COD just to not get my backside handed to me.

Gone through periods of online gaming, but its all about story for me, game one in CS is the same as game 3million. A story is immersive, which is why MMO's to a degree are now what I play for the majority of my "online" gaming. With that said thats why Lotro wins out over others I've tried as there actually is a main storyline you play, right throughout the game, while WoW and things the general story is theres a war going on, but you don't really take part in that story till end game, which bores me to death.

RGP's single player for me compared to FPS type online gaming, a game now and then is fine but its boring, also usually painfully easy and same every game.

I love both :D. On games like COD and BFBC2 I always do the campaign first and then play the multiplayer but I still buy single player only games (e.g. Just Cause 2).

Depends on the Game If it has great story like mass effect metro 2033 then SP but if it has single player like BFBC2 then MP ***

Depends on the game and mood I'm in.

Something like JC2 or SC2 skirmish is great for chilling out. BC2 or CS if I fancy something involving.
