Which game/s do you always go back to ??

Counter strike source...i've quit playing it 4 times, only to come back to it after 6months, damn game is too bloody addictive!

Guild wars is another one i occasionally reinstall for a blast

I haven't stopped playing Call of Duty 4, both on the PS3 and PC for the past 3 years. Very few things have been able to tear me away from it for a decent length of time, these mainly being Fallout 3/NV and Left 4 Dead 1/2.

I'm stuck on the level where you go into some office complex and can't sound any alarms (you've got that spray that knocks out guards), no matter what I do the alarm always seems to get sounded?

I remember having the same problem. I have since found out that I can't get the game to work on Windows 7 though, so haven't been able to try again.

Not many for me

Deus Ex
Fallout 1 & 2
Half-Life 1 I used to - completed it 7 times over a number of years but haven't been back to it recently
X-Com: Apocalypse
Baldur's Gate trilogy

Deus Ex, every time i read a glowing retrospective article on it, and to try and understand why it bores me to tears after a couple of hours and just cant be bothered with it....

Over the years, i must have installed it at least a dozen times with the intention of actually playing through, but i never do.

Warhammer Online.

It may be very unbalanced and still full of bugs, but I'm not sure if it is because of it being my first MMO or just how much I love the RvR, everytime I quite I want to go back.

It's not for everyone and as time marches on it will visually appeal less to some of the new comers and to those that have tried playing but haven't taken to it.

It's the game which holds the fondest memories for me, perhaps my favourite of all time but despite that I rarely play it. I keep meaning to install it and complete it yet again but other titles always take precedence.

Supreme Commander Forged Alliance - everytime i try a new RTS i soon end up going back to supcom. for the sheer tactical things you can do, oh and some of the mods are brilliant :)

imo best RTS by far!

Test Drive Unlimited.

There's nothing left for me to do on it in terms of challenges or buying cars/houses but it's the only game I have where I can add my own music to the in-game radio station, get in a car (preferably of the lazy V8 variety), crank up the music and cruise around the coastal roads with no intention of racing.

The only other game would probably be Counter Strike Source. I'm completely addicted to it, I can buy a new game and stick at it for a couple of days but then I always end up back on Counter Strike. Happens with every new game, no matter how good it's meant to be, I'll always end up back on Counter Strike after a short amount of time. I've tried to quit playing it many times but it's useless, someone eventually wants me to join them on a server or I get a real craving to play it and I've lost the battle again :p

SupCom: FA
Quake 3 (Quake Live)
Sim City
Diablo II

Seems like every other RTS, FPS, God Game and action-RPG I try just doesn't compare to these classics. I've kinda given up trying.

PC: World of Warcraft and Sim City 4
Console: FIFA, whichever version is current, I seem to always play it at least once a day.
