which is better 6800 GT GS or ultras ...sorry just not sure on these at all

ultra is best medium clock speeds (400mhz x 16 pipes)

Gt is lowest clock speeds (350mhz x 16 pipes)

GS is higher clock speeds (500mhz?!?! not sure, and 12 pipes)

so basically GT and GS are equal and Ultra is best.
 
wasnt the ultra 450Mhz on the core?
either way, it is better than the other two :)

edit : yeah just seen it was the 6800 Ultra Extreme model that was at 450 on the core

The GT was discontinued in favour of the GS, which has less pipes but higher clocks (equalising the performance and lowering the price) IIRC.

The Ultra is and always was the best 6800. :cool:

is £30 bout right price for these ? tbh dont really wanna spend this much cos if it aint this then gonna loose out too much cash lol, but unless a cheaper one around, pls let me know how u go on m8

£30 is a bloody incredible price for one of those even if it is second-hand, 6600GTs still go for £60 in a lot of places. :eek:
