Which liquid is used for water cooling ?

when I had 42 syringes of enoxaparin sitting here :cry:

not just coagulation and viscosity
would be an issue
blood oxidises would go a brown colour
also a breeding ground for bacteria
would probably also smell rather unpleasant after
a while once bacteria breed
so would need some sort of additive for that too

there's been publicity stunts I believe
where they said
cooled with human blood
coolant with a couple of drops of blood
insignificant amount
was maybe for a doom promotion or something

the exacts same thoughts went through my head. blood can go rather bad after a few days. can you imagine the smell when you turn your pc on after a few days after getting back from holiday. would need to fumigate the whole house and street lol.
In fact lets keep to blood like dyes instead. much more safe and less risk to you :P

but this heat is brutal

only good thing is with the pc on
yeah the room gets even hotter
but it lowers the relative humidity which is
kind of interesting
 
Used distiller water for years on reasonably high spec systems with about 5%-10% regular antifreeze for mould inhibitor

Never had a problem

Save yourself a few bucks

I don't think even Jayz2cents would be mad enough to try blood as a coolant fluid, and he is the go to channel for "whimsical" coolant trials, like milk and pond water. He's probably done coke and pepsi, and beer as well.
 
I always just used distilled water with a bit of car antifreeze in it.
Had nothing but trouble with fancy fluids, Mayhems pastel was especially pants.

mayhems aurora was awful and mayhems tried so hard to get it right but had an operational life of 6 weeks. this was the reason it failed so badly and was very quickly discontinued. currently they have been working on pastel nano but not much in the news about it for a while. other versions like the xtr (first nano particle coolant for pc) was temp discontinued as it also didn't last long while in operation. 6 month operational use. 1-2 years is the norm for glycol and veg oil based coolants.
