Which Memory Is Best Out Of These Two For E6300 & ABIT MATX?

(1) Crucial Ballistix 2GB (2x1GB) DDR2 PC2-5300C3 667MHz Dual Channel Kit

(2) GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) PC5300 667MHz Value DDR2 Dual Channel Kit

I want to overclock the CPU to 333Mhz as that is the furthest you can get on a MATX board so would it be worth getting the better crucial memory to improve the timings instead or just stick with the Geil as i'm not overclocking too much? Also what timings would you recommend on this setup?

(Edit) - Also would it be possible to use pc6400 memory and just downgrade it to 5700 until a better motherboard comes along?

What if I want to increase the timings, will it still make no difference which one I get? Also I was thinking that maybe I should try and overclock it to 350mhz as I heard that it is possible with this board, which memory should I get for overclocking it to 350mhz? Thanks. :)

if it was a big overclock i would say the Crucial Ballistix, but the geil should handle that speed with ease

Thanks :) What timings would you reccomend, also do you know if the memory can actually be overclocked on this board?

As you're running low speeds, get the Crucial - it will run 350MHz at 3-3-3-8-10-15-2T. The GeIL won't be able to get near that. ;)

Thanks, i'll get the crucial then and set it to those timings. How easy is it to overclock the memory and cpu on this motherboard as it is only matx?

It's very straightforward. Give it 1.375V for the CPU, 2.0V for the RAM and start turning up the FSB until you hit the wall at about 350MHz.

It's a nice motherboard with excellent onboard graphics and a very fast disk subsystem, but it's not really an overclockers board unfortunately. It is the best mATX overclocking board though.
