Did you get the same mobo again out of interest? (wondering if its that good!)

No, if given the choice I won't be getting an Asus motherboard again.
I've now had 2 failed boards out of 4, 50% failure rate not good.

No complaints with my MSI GD65 at the moment, seems to be solid and the new BIOS is nice Would definitely recommend it especially if you buy it today or tomorrow so you can get a 20% rebate:-

I have been running at 4.4GHz for a few days now without any problems. Just have not had the time to push it higher and prove it is still stable. I only went up to the GD5 due to the cash back offer.
