Which monitor and gpu

Im buying a new pc at the end of the month (waiting to see whats in the black friday sale) and i need a new monitor (27'' 1440p) i dont want to spend more then £400 on the monitor. so im wondering should i get a 980ti with a non g-sync monitor or a fury x with a freesync monitor something like this

Well with the Freesync option you will generally pay less for the monitor than with G-Sync. Performance of the GPUs is pretty similar at 1440p.

i listed monitors mid-high range of you allowance, the gpu choice is whether you want nvidia or amd since both are top of the performance chart really.
