My DS4 just hit the grave for unknown reasons, so I'm looking for a new (Intel 775) board.
I've been out of this game for a while really, so I'm not sure what's hot and what's not!
Requirements:
Self contained cooling
This is to go in a rig which is very very heavily watercooled. For this reason I need a board which is entirely self-cooled - my previous one used sinks around the CPU socket which were pretty useless when you have a watercooled CPU
; I had to have a fan sat pointing in the general direction to prevent the machine crashing...
Overclockability
Leading on from the last point about serious watercooling, I need a board which has effective controls for overclocking!
SLI
This is more of a wishlist thing - I have an 8800GTX and at some point in the future I might buy it a sister. If I have to seriously compromise to get this feature, however, I can skip it.
Any thoughts appreciated!
