Asus k8-Ne

DFI LanParty UT NF4 Ultra-D

MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum nForce4 Ultra (Socket 939) PCI-Express Motherboard (MB-046-MS)

Asus A8N-E nForce4 Ultra (Socket 939) PCI-Express Motherboard
Price: £59.95 (£70.44 Including VAT at 17.5%)

Or you could go for the Premium version, but only reason to go for that really is for the silent cooling on the chipset, thats about it, in my opinion anyway.
And the SLi ofcourse, but you won't be using that.

Asus A8N-SLi Premium nForce4 SLi (Socket 939) PCI-Express Motherboard
Price: £99.95 (£117.44 Including VAT at 17.5%)

The above you posted also look nice, any one of those will do the job just fine.

If you plan on overclocking a lot then the DFI LANParty NF4 Ultra-D would be your best bet. If not I'd go with Traducer's suggestion and get the Asus A8N-E nForce4 Ultra.

will any of the abouve motherboards run better with my ATI x1800xt?

or will they all be same, also which of these boards has better online sound and lan?

depends how much you plan to overclock , if any , and if you want good onboard sound etc. Also worth considering the ati based mobos as some have decent video built in , to tide u over when u sell your 1800

They should all be the same, its the same chipset, so don't worry about it to much.
Hehe thats the sort of thing I always think about, don't worry about that. :)
Don't bother with an ATI chipset, stick with the nForce4 mate, I have my reasons for this and so do many others, but I don't feel like typing out a huge post explaining it all hehe.
To be honest, you will be happy with any of those boards mate.

i was just wondering why the Geforce4 chipset is better than the ATI equivilant?

also having good onboard sound and LAN is a real importance so if any of the above the boards have one better than the other that will tip the scales!!!

cheers

the DFI has karajan 7.1 audio and i find it excellent... it also has a lower CPU usage than the others.... around 2% i think compared to around 5% for the rest.
