which one is best ?

Hi All I would like to know what is the best to go with on be unlimited , a Dynamic IP or Static IP ?

Well, are you likely to be hosting any webservers or accessing your network from a remote location.

Basicly if you don't know if you need one, you probably dont.

what on earth has that got to do with static or dynamic IP?


if you are connecting out to the internet not from the internet in then dynamic is best.
If you host FTP/VPN or RDP your PC from afar then you'll need a static IP for easy connectivity

If your hosting services, need to know your IP address you want static.

If you're just browsing the net like a normal person you want dynamic.

Static IP will always be the same address.
A dynamic IP will change when you go online.

I was under the impression you needed to be on BE Pro to get a static IP and this is one of the advantages (or disadvantages depending on your line speed) of doing so.

I may be completely wrong of course.
