which one of these for xbox 360.

hi people going to go ad get anew screen for the 360 today. but i am stuck between these two i dont know whether to go with the LG 32LX2R or the SAMSUNG LE32R72BX both are 32inch and both are priced at 599. but which is the better screen would you say. it will be used for xbox 360 hi def movies and sky. also if any of you have got any of these tv's in action with say the 360 could you post some pics up just soo i can get a rough idea of what they look like.
 
The samsung. Look at the Toshiba 32WLT66 though, arguably better than both and can be had for cheaper with discount codes.
 
ok can i ask why you say the samsung between the two. because it seems to me there is nothing between the two. and isnt the lg xd engine ment to be one the best
 
Got the lg myself, excellent screen, 360 looks superb through component, and of course this panel has every connection you can think of , vga, dvi, component, hdmi.
Use it for pc use and it does 1x1 pixel mapping.

Id go for the lg personally.
 
cheers people scoobydoo is there any chance of a pic from you mate??. also ive heard there are a few problems through lg with the sky remote is this correct.
 
I have an LG 37LC3R and the XD engine spanks the samsung which is why I went with the LG. Also the samsung has an annoying screen flicker effect when going from light to dark scenes.

That's why you turn off dynamic picture mode and use standard or another custom one.

Can do, what kind of pic do you want?. it running a 360 game?, tv, or just pic of it from a distance?
 
my temporary desk setup, 32" LG running 360 over VGA at 1360x768, its the mutts'.

Could I just chip in and say look at the Toshy to. We have the 37 and its great! :D
 
they sound like great tv,s mate but my budget is 600 pounds. and i have kind of decided on either the samsung or lg and atm i am swinging towards the lg becase of the great xd engine
 
Definitely look at the Toshiba 32WLT66. Plugged my 360 into one of these the other day and the picture was stunning. It is the best 32" for under £1k imo. It scales SD content very well and the sound is much better than the Samsung R7 series.
 
cheers unknown some more pics would be nice mate. by the way is that the 26 or the 32 inch ersion also mate. waht are you running it at 720p. ive also heard that the sammys will support 1080p with an xbox update is this true.
