Which order to play halo in?

Managed to pick up 1 and 2 for a fiver, 1 is hard going, definition is so bad lol on a 46 hd tv lol, gonna be a battle to get through lol, me and the gf play in coop and even she mentioned the gfx, sometimes she can't even tell if the subwoofer is working!

Is 2 as bad as one? I have played one years ago, and I'm sure it was better!
 
Halo 1 has sweet graphics. Don't be dissin :|

The multiplayer in Halo 1 blew my ****ing socks off. Having 8 player "Halo Fests" round my mates house was probably the best multiplayer experience I've ever had.

Halo 2 when xbox live came out on the original xbox nearly matches it for awesomeness.
 
1 - 3 and then play the named ones.

Just don't play Halo Wars, it will give you cancer.

ODST...eh, the story is cool but not playing as a Spartan took something from the experience for me, however it is perfectly functioning and enjoyable none the less.

Reach is awesome.

I have very fond memories of Halo 1, my mate got an Xbox on release and when he got Halo we played through the campaign in co-op, spent hours on the beach level driving warthogs at each other seeing who could get launched the highest.
