Which out? (stupid Q)

Silly question really, do I use a cable to hook the signal from my amp to my sub via tape.mid out or line out? Using tape out the signal is hella weak but using line out makes the bass very very loud at even the lowest levels and I have to turn it right the way down!

Neither. The levels of the outputs won't change when you adjust the volume unless your amplifier has outputs for a power amplifier or a dedicated sub (.1) channel.

Use pre-outs from your amp, or high level ( speaker outputs). What sub do you have?
