Which PAYG phone?

I'm looking for a good quality PAYG phone. Not a heavy user so up to £200.
Mainly use for text and calls, but some internet and apps would be a nice bonus.

I've been searching for reviews etc but seems to be a lot a conflicting comments on various models/brands and not being very clued up on the latest mobile tech, it gets confusing

So any recommendations please?

Windows 6.5? Don't expect apps (or a phone designed for touch imo). For your requirements I think you'll have to go more mainstream which for your price range is going to mean either Android or blackberry. iOS is out of your price range really.

Stay away from the Touch 2, its rubbish.

As said the Orange San Francisco is the best device for <£100

You can get it unlocked free and update it to Android 2.2/2.3

There may be HTC desire available for that price soon. Even lower price as used. A lot of people are going to be trading it in for the newer dual core android phones.
