Looking to move to Orange student pay monthly and these are the 3 phones which have stood out to me. Each have their positives and negatives for me but would be nice to hear other's opinions. I'm basically looking for a phone with a good interface, good memory (or easily expandable) and a good camera. Size and style aren't really that important to me if it's traded off for good features but the new Nokias are just a bit too big (the N73/N80). So which of those three should I go for? Bearing in mind the W810i is free whereas the other two are about the same price (just shy of £100) is the extra cash worth it?

Out of those 3 id get the K800i, i have a w810i and its a superb phone no doubt about it but the k800i is even better. The cam on the k800i is simply superb, havent seen any other cam phone take pics as good as the k800i. Plus its quite a nice handset, has a nice rubbery feel to the back of it.

Havent used the SAmsung but they are good phone from what i have heard but id go for the k800i as its a killer phone. Cant get enough of mine although i use it mainly for pics and mp3 playback via bluetooth, the w810i cant play audio via bluetooth but the k800i can and does it very well.

I got a D900 a few days ago and I hate it. The menu system feels cramped and awkward and I find it quite uncomfortable (not to mention slow) to text (and I don't really have big hands either). I'm going to send it back and request the K800. Its a shame because the D900 does have a killer look to it. Its the first phone I have ever been deeply unhappy with on upgrade!

The K800i's I have experienced have been a bit slow and laggy, they do take fantastic photos though. I currently have a W810i and am in no rush to change it, excellent phone with superb sound quality.

I got my K800i a few days ago it's not a bad piece of kit. I noticed that the sound quality was a lot better than the W800i and the camera's really good. It's not a bad piece of kit I recommend it :)

if we're talking just about the camera, i hate how the d900 attracts people by saying 3mp, the camera is SO BAD compared to the k800's

Definately the K800i. I've got the W810i, though it's a fantastic phone and I can't really fault it in any way, the K800i is a better phone.

My old man had one on Three, but I found it a little bit sluggish in comparison with my W810i, but that might be all the crap that Three installed on it.

Yeah i've got a new K800i through and it isn't slow at all, maybe the firmware on the older versions could use an update?

Well, I've ordered up the phone on an O2 contract, hopefully it won't come preloaded with a load of rubbish! Be a nice upgrade from my (slightly) outmoded SE T300. :p

Slow to some people is fast to others.

I.E. There isnt ONE N series phone I think is fast enough...all slow. Yet a lot of people like them a lot and say they are fast.

Na, i've dealt with some slow phones, but the k800i is very snappy (well mine is). Its on O2, so no crap loaded up. There's pretty much no delay in the menu's for me.

Hehe, i have the k800, it isnt as fast as my old sharp 903, but is fast enough. Im just saying that even though I find the k800 acceptable, it is possible for some people to find it slow.

my only gripe with the k800 is it doesn't take the memory stick duo but the memory stick duo which only currently goes up to 1gb I think and costs a lot more then the duo.
