you shouldnt use a projector for gaming, not even a rear projection TV, you can scar the lightbulbs, im not too sure about newer technology but im pretty sure this is the case, wait until an expert comes along or use google to find out
You can't scar the light bulb, projectors are great for gaming. Just make sure you use them properly and you will be fine, ie don't turn them on and off for the fun of it etc.
Both consoles will work fine and HDCP should not be an issue. Heard good things about the Panasonic.

Sitting 6FT away from a 80" screen on a playseat racing seat frame with racing wheel in hand and games like PGR4 screaming its engines out with the audio expanded to 7.1
I care to TOTALLY disagree. Yes im sitting waay too close and its waay too loud but im enjoying every minute of it. Every so often games like PGR4 come along that really look, sound and feel fantastic on a nice system.
PJs for gamming, well on certain games they are an absolute blast.
Personally i find high speed or high action games make the most of it.
Panny AX100 user...
btw the new AX200 has launched (minor updates and additional HDMI)
you could have gone really anal about it and gone into the whole LCD vs DLP thing
I have the Optoma HD70 which i bought as an upgrade from a Panny PT-AE500. nearly went for either the PT-AX100 or Sanyo Z5 (both LCD) but decided against it and went for a DLP pj instead, dont think i could go back to an LCD one now?? the colours just seem much more vibrant with the DLP
eitherway, gaming on any projector is awesome so its a win whatever
^ lol yep
My mate gave me a copy of What Hifi where it was reviewed plus afew more readings on the interweb helped me decide on it.
Looking for some Kef 2005s to add and an amp
