Which slots on mobo?

Hi,

I am getting this mobo for a friend and just wanted to clarify which colour slots I plug the RAM into?

The only reason I ask is because it appears if your RAM is in the wrong slots you will get diff probs etc...

the manual should tell you, but it will most likely be the 1st two blue slots for dual channel.

Generally its the ones as it says in the manual but thats not always. I managed to get my corsair sticks 20mhz more stable in (250 to 270fsb) by using slots a2 and b2 rather than a1 and b1 as said in the asus manual. Also on dfi boards orange are generally best for tccd chips and yellow for winbond sticks.

Try in the ones board manual says and then see if any better in other slots after
