Which sub-£100 AGP card that's better than 9800XT

x1650 XT would be better, and a lot faster than the 9800 XT, its about on par with the 7600 GT, which is faster than the 6800 Ultra, only £90+ to so sub £100. :)

If you really don't want to spend more than £100, then the x1650 should be fine, but tbh it wouldn't be £70 worth of upgrade to me... it's probably £70 better put towards going PCI-E.

The x1950 will give double the framerates of the x1650 (toms vga guide, bf2142) and is available for £117.49+p&p at OcUK, which would be a much better spend of money IMHO.

If you have an older processor, etc, you might be better off thinking about upgrading that and getting yourself onto a pci-e setup, rather than investing in AGP tech which is becoming more expensive than pci-e, and more out of date :)
