OK i've pretty much decided on one or the other. Which one would you get and why?

Either:

LG 32LC2D

OR

LG 32LX2R

Now, I saw both of these TV's in action in [competitor] today and they both looked superb. the 2nd one, looked better as far as aesthetics go, and i couldn't believe it was only 32" as it looked a lot larger. The first on the other hands looks a bit dull in comparison. also, the 2nd tv's picture stayed the same when i moved to an extreme angle whereas the first's picture seemed to fade a little (although i cant see this affecting me really).

However, after coming home and reading reviews of both the TV's, the majority seem to think the first one is the better option. There's ~£100 difference between the two. Can anyone else who's had experience with either of these TV's shed any light on which would be the better choice?

anyone? need to make my mind up so i can bug the rents, but i dont really know that much about tv's really

i Have the 37" lcd2d and its damn good,

i don't think there are many differences between them, except for the presense of a dvb tuner on the newer model.

The older model has dvi , hdmi and vga while the newer one has a hdmi and dvi in one port which is shortfall if you need to connect to the pc digitally (LG screens are good for this ) and to something else that needs hdmi.

vote : second, purely on looks and what youve said. You will spend a lot of time looking at your Tv and you wouldnt want it to be ugly now would ya :P

I had the LG 32LX2R. It has 1:1 pixel mapping and stretch modes, so it's great when using a PC. Black levels aren't great though, and backlight isn't adjustable. oh it's only £600 now
