Following on from my costco thread I've decided not to go there as they don't do the tracking so I though I'd go to my local place, they have Goodyear Eagle GSD2s 185/60/14 for £200 for 4 inc fitting, balancing, tracking etc.

Or I can get Pirelli P6000s for £190 or Dunlop SP10s for the same price, they sell pretty much every brand but I've heard these are all good, any other suggestions?

GSD2's suck compared to GSD3's. P6000's also suck.

Do they have Michelin Pilot Sports?

My old Dunlop SP9000's were quite good, but I have no idea if that can translate to the SP10's.

You can't get ds3s in the right size for my car :(

Here's some of the tyres they have in order of price, highest to lowest:

Toyo R888

Yokohama A460

Goodyear EAGLE~GSD2

Pirelli P6000

Goodyear Hydragrip

Dunlop SP10

Bridgestone B330

Dunlop SPT01

Dunlop SP2000 E

Firestone TZ200 FS

Firestone F700 FS

Continental Eco~Contact~CP

What car are they going on?

I had <borat>great success</borat> with goodyear hydragrips on my Saxo VTR, in both the wet, dry and SNOW!

Don't get the 6000's I had the same on my first astra and gave me very little grip in the wet and dry.

Once nearly made me go straight into the back of a lorry

P6000s aren't toooo bad in the dry, provided you keep them up to the right pressure. While fine at 32psi, at 29psi they were awful! They always squeal too, and they aren't great in the wet either. Oh, and they have very little feel, so you're cornering one instant and going straight on with no warning the next.... actually don't get P6000s.

Firestone TZs are OK. The feel isn't the sharpest, but they've got good grip wet and dry, they last a while and they're quiet. They also give quite a bit of feedback so you know when you're on the edge of grip and don't snap when you pass it, just a nice gradual drop off.
