Does anyone know if a D-Tek FuZion GFX Waterblock will fit on this card?

I've currently got one on my 8800GTS at the min but with a Asus 5770 on the way I need to know if I'm going to have to order a new block aswel to fit it.

I'm not after a full block due to how costly they are so if anyone can recommend me a cheapish alternative that will fit if my D-Tek one won't

Cheers

As far as i know there are only two universal blocks that fit out of the box. The Zalman ZM-GWB3 VGA Water Cooling Block and the XSPC X2O VGA Waterblock. The Zalman should be avoided at all cost's as it is extremely restrictive. I got one cheap off the bay for my 5770 and took it apart to have a look at. The barbs are 3\8" or smaller so i was hoping to change them for 1/2" barbs. They use G1/8" threads so this is a no go. The supplied barbs have a stupidly narrow inside diameter of only 3mm where they screw into the top of the block. This is a shame as the internal structure of the block should make for decent cooling performance but the barbs will severley restrict flow around the loop. Needless to say i am not using the one i got. I am going to try the XSPC next which hopefully will be up to the job.

There is the full cover block but i find paying almost half the price of the card for a block to be obscene. The problem is the mounting holes as they are only 61mm apart diagonally which rules out all of the best blocks. Even my Aquaextreme MP-1 is far too big.

Somebody on here did say that the Swiftech MCW60 can be made to fit but involves enlarging the mounting holes on the card which there is no way i am going to do this.

Thanks for that, yeah thats what I assumed, no way i'm paying for a full cover block or modding the card either! so it looks like im on the look out for a XSPC block.

I did read on another forum that someone had managed to mod a D-Tek Fuzion block and got it to fit but it didn't say whether or not he had to modify the card.
