I'm looking for wireless headset for things like PC/console gaming, teamspeak and skype. Wired is out of the question and besides I already have a set of speedlinks. The Corsair Vengeance 2000 is a bit flimsy by all accounts. What would you recommend?

Actually I changed my mind, paid £20 more and bought the new Corsair Vengeance 2100 which has a 10 hour battery life in comparison to the Tactic3D Omega which has a 3 hour battery life. The side joints on the new model are apparently redesigned and are much more robust than the 2000.

Good choice, the new one has addressed the build quality issues apparently.
