Knew this would be the case.
I remember my days of working in a Currys warehouse for my first job, tumble driers are nice and light, so they're usually stacked in the warehouse. If you have to get one down on your own, you used to let it slide on it's back and drop on it's feet. I imagine this is what happened here. Or it was damaged when getting it off the truck.
Either way, it's no loss to Currys, they just send it back to the manufacturer for replacement.
