After my first year with o2 I have manged to get about 50% reduction in tariff which I am firly pleased with but I know some people have better tarriffs than I...

So speak!

currently on - 200mins 500 texts ( poop i know )

o2 offered me 300mins 750 texts ( free k800 ) @ 30ppm
orange have offered 500mins 500 texts (free k800 ) @ 25ppm

Not sure which one im going for.

With o2, i got the same contract i was on, £25 per month for £10 per month and with £100 pre paid contract credit (no silly cheques in the post :p). I was very happy :).

Basically worked out to £20 for a years worth of £25per month contract the year before!

Just on o2 online 200 - can't complain, it's only £30 and I never spend over :)

Rang them up though last week to enquire about an upgrade to the k800i, she said that they were out next week (this week) so it would be best to ring back then.

Fairy 'nuff, I asked how much it would be, "£49.99". I said stuff that, that's the same price as it is for a new customer, I'm not paying that. She said that I had to speak to someone in retentions if I wasn't happy, again next week when the phones in stock. Fairy 'nuff I can understand that.

I then casually ask on average how much of my 500 text do I actually use? She muttered a few words and then said "Normally 250-300 per month". sounds about right (single now :o), asked whether I could change tariffs as I'm not using them all and her responce?

"Well Sir, for the same price that you're currently paying (£30), you can switch to an 18month contract and you'll get 500mins and 750 texts!"

She sounded very pleased with herself...

"Can I speak to someone else please?" Was my responce to that :p

****ing muppet.

Hehe, Had a giggle at that myself :) It's not her fault she's just reading oiff the screen :p. It very much depends who you get at retentions as to whether you get a good deal, phoning up a few times is probably worth it, because even if you dont get a better deal the next few times, you know what you CAN get so you can argue your case knowing your right.

And remember, don't go paying over the odds to their 0870 number, say no to it ;).

Why whats the alternative number like ?

I was trying to subtley word my way around things, surely the wink gave it away :p

P.S. Google "say no to 0870" with the quotation marks. It should be your first result on the .com.

200 xnet mins and 500 texts for £15/mo. however due to mistakes in their billing department they couldn't do this so i've had 6 months FREE and now on 6 months for £30/mo

Insurance, 50 Video Minutes, 400 texts, 600 Anytime Minutes, Unlimited Browsing of wap and HTML, Email Etc.

30ppm

I was T mobile when they were doing the flext offer......25% bit

I got a mda pro for free, insurance on that phone full cover, the webnwalk package, and of course the flext t 35 tariff and that costs me a shade under ££40 a month. It might sound a lot but then look at the insurance and the webn walk extras ii have.

Im might pleased with it and its a great tariff talking or texting all comes off my £180 allowance, the only thing i wouild say is given half the chance i would have stayed withorange as t mobiles reception and call quality is pants even with a full signal

The o2 Online 200 tariff. Think its 200 xnet minutes, 400 txts which rolloever if I dont use them. Free e900, 12 month contract, £20 a month, sweet.

500xnet
