Who here owns a Fiesta ST?

also bought one of these to fit between the filter and cam cover breather pipe

http://oilcatchtank.com/

Could you answer a few question on this for me please?

1) How do they work?
2) How easy are they to fit? I know you put a photo up but some instructions would be really appreciated as I'm not mechanically minded at all.
3) What size did you get?

Thanks

David, I fitted one, last entry in my project thread on STOC

Had some cheapo carbon wrap left over from a recent Computer project so thought I'd give it a try on my centre console.

Not sure on the colour, but it's easily reversible when I get bored. So no harm done.

I like it! how did you mange to get the vinyl to stick? Whenever i tried it with mine it just peeled straight away. I don't know if due to the age my vinyl going off (does it lose tack with age?)

I'm currently in the middle of organising a group buy on Fiesta ST Formula Power 10mm (the 'High Power') Ignition Leads on www.fordfiestaST.co.uk. Am I allowed to post a link on here and open it up to everyone on here as well or are group buys frowned upon?

They are priced at £49.95 normally plus postage however the group buy price is £39.95 plus postage.

Colours available are Red, Blue or Black.

Well the wrap started to peel inside the AC button hole, so it's all coming off, was getting bored of it anyway.

Is anyone attending FITP this year?

That's good, I'm going over with a few guys from the Northwest area, I'll pop over and say Hi.

Just stripped my badges and number plates off ready for a full detail.

Thinking about having decals now too instead of badges.

Blue is nice!

Agree! Can see one of these replacing my White Zetec S in the near future when 6 month - 1 year old examples hit the market. Very similar running costs (depreciation aside) and they look like a lot of fun. The lack of torque & 6th gear bugs me on my ZS because most of my commute is motorway but the ST addresses this.

One of the guys driving over to FITP with us has a new Blue ST, can't wait have a good look around it, gonna defo be my next car once they start to drop in price a little.
The front is very marmite but I love it.

Stupidly went and had a two hour drive of the new ST…damn…what a nice car. :(

Builds upon my car in every way, anyone coming from a MK6 is going to be in awe.

Ahem:

Picked it up a little over a week ago. We only went into the Ford Garage to look at a brochure..... My wife fell in love with the colour and that was that. :o:D

Been too busy driving it, and grinning, to take some proper pictures at the moment (plus it is filthy thanks to the weather).

For those who want to know it is a ST-2 in Spirit Blue with the Style pack. All in it was 18k. We managed to get the Lifeshine thrown in for free so saved roughly £1k on list including options.

When I get the chance I will take some proper pictures and do a proper write up.

To sum it up (very) quickly I would say it feels like a Clio 200 Cup (Chassis / handling) and a Mini Cooper S (Engine) smashed together in a Fiesta body.

Got a '05 Mk6 one over the weekend, in performance blue. Love her so far, great noises (to my ears anyhow) around the 5k rpm mark.
No mods but I do want some mud flaps to try to save the paint work, anyone got a recommendations, in white or blue if possible?

Carbon black with PB ST vinyl on them.

Proper ones are expensive though, think i paid about £100 for mine on the Fiesta. Constant nuicance as they always had to be re-positioned.

They really are lovely aren't they? :D
