Er here come my silly question of the day, how would one check the brake pad amounts left?
I know it's easy on my bike since I can drop the wheels out but here I'm not sure.

Turn the wheel to full lock and peak through the spokes.

Ordered a Piper backbox so once it arrives I'll book it in to a custom place get an unsilenced centre pipe made and everything fitted

Piper is the best for the ST.

I find Piper too loud for me personally. Very happy with my full non-res Milltek although since my trip to Jamsport my car isn't running rich any more so I don't get many pops and bangs.

Milltek is mega expensive for just non res, be ok if you could just buy the backbox cheap as the centre pipes non res are 55 on the bay! But hoping mine will give me the sound I want, still deep but with a raucous edge

Bah not had a good couple of days in the ST.

Seat handle broke on the drivers seat.

The next day I was washing the car giving it a polish in prep for winter and noticed about six bubbles on the arch. That will be rust then !

I'm still thankfully rust free lol.

Notalot has happened with mine really, the interior light kinda fell out so fitted a new surround and jobs a good 'un.

Had my piper backbox fitted now and a custom centre section non resonated by a local powerflow dealer. It sounds good but I think his workmanship is a little lax

I have some rattling heatshield(s) now and he claims he couldn't get it sitting any better than this (below), I think if it was a teeny bit more to the left and a smidge lower I'd probably not have any rattling heatshields but I think I'll get my normal mechanic to have a look.

Will have to do some vids but it pops, crackles and burbles already! Only done about 50 miles

In response to your exhuast mine had a miltek exhaust when I bought it, mine sits fractionally lower, but with speed bumps or when parking on drive (up a kerb) the heat shield sometimes resonates a bit. but goes off.

The s bend pipe needs to rotate a bit to lower the tail pipe.

Jealous

I'd like a MK7 ST!

The novelty of my noisy exhaust is wearing off now and I am considering going from the AP coilovers to standard shocks and eibach springs too now.

Would it be a much smoother ride with the eibach springs and standard shocks? My car came with the coilies fitted.

Alternatively I'm thinking of selling up and having a Corsa VXR and leaving it alone lol. Can't afford a new shape Fiesta ST yet
