Who here owns a Fiesta ST?

Apparently ET40 which I hope should be ok, as long as they clear my brakes I am happy for winter, with 17's on it's a pain in the backside catching at the front all the time, weird as the 16's poke out more but don't catch at all, but theres definitely a smidge more arch gap, I didn't realise how much bigger the 17's would be to the car in comparison lol.

Gonna get them saturday, they look pretty clean and plenty of tread on the tyres which should see me through fine :)

Hhnnnngggg...can't shake the wants for a ST...

Keep thinking to myself i need a bigger car. Maybe go for a Type R or something next but the only thing that excites me is the new ST. Maybe it's because i had 6 hour test drive in one from a family member.

yeah :D

I had the choice of getting mine fitted with free labour at delivery, but held off, I will appreciate it more once I've had the car for a while.

:D

You're not having that one though, that one is MINE, all MINE.... :p:D (yes I realise this isn't probably helping...)

Just ticked over 8.5k miles this morning. Ruddy love the little scamp. Went to the Brecons with it in September and it was fantastic fun. According to my wife, I had a stupid grin on my face all up the A4069.

Planning on a MP215 upgrade early next year but focusing on just enjoying it at the moment. I have got bored with cars very quickly in the past but this one just keeps on delivering.

Had finance agreed and thinking of getting a ST. The wife does not want the blue which is the colour I feel any ST should come in so im guessing red or white at extra cost.

We want the nicer interior so a ST-2. Just unsure what extras are worth getting?

Does the ST-2 have the privacy glass as standard? Also does it have Bluetooth hands free or is that extra also?

The wife would like NAV as we live in Germany but is the Sony Nav option decent with Europe covered?

I believe Privacy glass is standard or at least part of the style pack (mine is a ST-2 with stye pack). The car has Ford Sync which I believe includes Bluetooth hands free (I don't use it). Sadly I don't have the Nav unit so can't give any advice on that. Best option would be to ask at a Ford dealer.

Too much talk of the new ST's. Want one... Not enough monies! :(

Agreed, new ST talk should be banned :p

Had to change my headlight bulbs yesterday afternoon as one went a few days ago. Cars really are not built like they are used to that's for sure, what a ball ache it was! Cheap plastic everywhere! They certainly don't make it easy!

The Blue costs more then the white and red is free.

Yes the ST-2 does have privacy glass as standard as well as bluetooth.

The Nav is a £400 extra, imo I would just buy a decent standalone one for about £200.

Winter rollerskate mode, don't wanna bash my 16's up as they're immaculate, the 17's are a bit big with the car being on coilovers and make it hard to press on, on corners... so gonna cash in on those. Popped these on as not too fussed about them over winter. Had to get them rebalanced as the weights being a bit close to the spokes initially on the front wheels meant they caught the brake calipers up front :D

What I can say for myself is 15's look tiny, but dead comfy. 16's, perfect. 17's, heavy and too big for this shoebox.

Guys, after the new year I have been thinking of a cost effective add on for a little more poke. I don't want to shell out loads on cams, manifold etc... was thinking about a remap or bluefin, dreamscience or something like that.

Current engine mods: Milltek 60mm flexi pipe, custom non res centre section (2.25") mated to a Piper 3" outward rolled back box. Also have a Mountune CAIS fitted.

1) Will I see any noticable gains with a better map? Mine runs out of puff at 4500+ but I did come from a Civic Type R!
2) If so, which nets me the most gains and is good value for money?
